Matixando is a collective of musicians and artists playing original world forest music written and composed by Costa-Rican singer-songwriter, David Dávila González.
Matixando plays original Latin fusion, blending rock, reggae, blues, funk and a variety of Latin rhythms. Originally formed in Costa Rica, the band is currently based in Bloomington, IN.
Inspired by love, peace, nature and daily life, the songs represent the influences of the people and places that have made up the band at various times and in various countries.
